Farmington Elementary fourth graders Jadyn Brindley, Marrisa Wilson, and Nilah Mathis construct their project on Kentucky in the Civil War for the school's fourth annual History Fair. Fifth graders were required to complete an individual project about a specific topic in history. Students in grades 3-6 were given the option to complete projects in small groups or individually. All classes from kindergarten through sixth grade made classroom projects to display at the fair. The History Fair is one of many ways that Farmington Elementary helps students in all grades learn about Social Studies and the effects of history on today's world.
